Church Planting

As for as church planting is concerned IRGM embraces The Antioch pattern of churches. Act 13:1-3 with following perspectives serving church verse 2 Separating church verse 2 fasting and praying church v3 Sending church v3 Giving church act 11:29, 30.

FINANCE:We entirely depend on amount received for our project by the help of our believers’ offerings, tithe and contribution from well wishes

TARGET GROUP:The target group will be the disadvantage people in the village and the priority will be given to the un-reached people (Isaiah 61:1)

BIBLE BANK PROJECT:We have project called Bible Bank that provide free bible to new believers who utterly poor unable to buy the bible. And also distributes NT, tracts and gospel booklet for the churches, bible college etc.

INCOME GENERATE PROGRAM:IRGM offer small amount of Loan for vulnerable church member to start small business such a vegetable shop, Tiffin stall, sewing machine etc.

DEMOGRAPHICS: As of 2001 India census Gudiyatham had a population of 91,376.Males constitute 50% of the population and female 50%.Gudiyatham has an average rate of 71% higher than the national average of 59.5% male literacy is 78% and female literacy is 64%. In Gudiyatham, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: Thirupathy- Thirumala is 100KM from Gudiyatham. By Road : From Chennai come to Vellore and from Vellore frequent bus service to Gudiyatham.

COMMERCE: Gudiyatham has a thriving small scale sector manufacturing safety matches, Lungis, and Beedis.The Republic of India's first national flag was woven here, by the palayakot Lungi Company and Shape for Thiruvallur (by Statue) was given by this people. The town's Gengayamman Temple is famous and its yearly fair on 14/15 of May (Tamil month- Vaigasi 1st) attracts more than a million people from around the state. The town has many movie halls, more 13 in the 1990 s and has in total seven colonies. Gudiyatham is famous for gold jewelry market. Being on the katpadi,Jolarpettai railway line it is connected to Bangalore and chennai. The handloom lungies which are manufactured in this town are exported to many Arab Countries. Other than there are two cotton mills running in Gudiyatham. One is Thirumagal Mills Limited and the other is Rajeshwari Mills Limited, where both employs’ considerable amount of employees. A farmers market has also formed on near Nellorepet every Tuesday for more than 100 years. India national flag was weaved in Gudiyatham and supplied to all over India even the flag hoisted in the red fort at India weaved from Gudiyatham. PEOPLE: Major language is Tamil. It has a fairly large Urdu and Telugu Speaking population. It has reputed educational institutions like the Rajagopal polytechnic college, which is one of the oldest and most reputed institutions in Tamil Nadu.

Work of the Mission

Our missionaries, directors and promotional workers are doing preaching practicing and proclaiming the gospel. Prayer group prays for our prayer request. Reports are received by the promotional secretary who interns keep all informed of the progress prayer request are received and sent to all prayer groups to be prayed for monthly magazine is published projects for the various branches of the ministry are being worked out by experts assigned with responsibilities.

DOCTRINAL BASIS: Doctrinal statement, which is given below: The Bible, constrain of all the books of the Old and New testaments, is the Word of God, a supernaturally given revelation from God Himself, concerning Himself, His being, nature, character, will and purposes, and concerning of the Old and New Testaments are without error or misstatements in their moral and spiritual teaching and record of historical facts. They are without error or defect of any kind. There is one God, eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus was supernaturally conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin – Mary, a lineal descendant of David. He lived and taught and wrought mighty works and wonders and signs exactly as is recorded in the four Gospels. He was put to death by crucifixion under Pontiffs Pilate. God raised from the dead the body that had been nailed to the cross. The Lord Jesus after His crucifixion showed Himself to be alive to His disciples, appearing unto them by the space of 40 days. After this, the Lord Jesus ascended into heaven, and the Father caused Him to sit at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come, and put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him to be Head over all things to the Church. The lord Jesus, before His incarnation, existed in the form of God and of His own choice laid aside His divine glory and took upon Himself the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. In His pre-existent state, He was with God and was God. He is a divine person possessed of all the attributes of Deity, and should be worshiped as God by angels and man. “In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily”. All the words that He spoke during His earthly life were the words of God. There is absolutely no error of any kind in them, and by the words of Jesus Christ the words of all other teacher must be tested. The lord Jesus became in every respect a real man, possessed of all essential characteristics of human nature. By His death on the cross, the Lord Jesus made a perfect atonement for sin, by which the wrath of God against sinners is appeased and a ground furnished upon which God can deal in mercy with sinners. He redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse in our place. He who Himself was absolutely without sin was made to be sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of personally, bodily, and visibly. The return of our lord is the blessed hope of the believer, and in it God’s purpose of grace toward mankind will find their consummation. The Holy Spirit is a person, and is possessed of all the distinctively divine attributes. He is God. Man was created in the image of God, after His likeness, but the whole human race fell in the fall of the first Adam. All man, until they accept the lord Jesus as their personal Savior, are lost, darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, hardened in heart, morally and spiritually dead through their trespasses and sins. They cannot see, nor enter the Kingdom of God until they are born again of the Holy Spirit.

Activities: Evangelism

Gospel of Christ has been preaching since Saint Thomas came to India, but Christianity is not growing as we expect. Because of population, huge land and financial problem etc.There are thousands and thousands of people yet to be evangelized in huge land of India, how can we Christian take rest? When the Millions and Millions of people are going towards the burning hell how can be silent? , Unless we are reached them by the gospel, they are going to be perished. So our mission invites prayer groups, lay mans, pastors, mission minded persons and mission organization to pray together, March together, plan together, work together and look forward together to see whole India is saved. As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. John 9:4 We believe the Bible portion:- That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Children's Ministry

Every year our mission reaches 5000 children in the month of May during summer vocation. We use to conduct 10 days class for them, after finished summer vocation class, we do neo-project for the children. Every day after finished school, children would come to club, off an hour they should play any game, we provide sport material for children as they likes, after finished playing, and children will sit for the study then moral class for off an hour, end of the refreshment will be given to children. We have a three years syllabus for children, end of three years children will understand and learn savior of Jesus Christ.

AREA BACKGROUND: Our organization is currently working in selected backward villages in vellore district Because low literacy, less industrial development, inadequate agriculture reforms, and continued migration etc. To help the rural underprivileged, disadvantaged oppressed people to help them to develop towards self-reliance. The organization formed village groups, and gave the leadership training in social awareness and motivation and so that these groups are able to realize their life reality and is able to solve their problems and also act as social agents. They are traditionally Hindus. We preach the gospel of Christ and plant the churches in un-reached place. We reach they by Gospel of Christ through giving tracts, forming prayer cell, out-reach ministry, personal evangelism, street drama, kits, cultural programs and doing social service. The core of the organization indeed dedicated development workers with more than 10 years experience in the field. Rev.Dr.David Samuel, founder of Indian Rural Gospel Mission has over 25 years experience in various activities before started the organization.

Council for Indian Christian and Ministers

I have initiated the Council it’s called Council for Indian Christians and ministers (CICM) CICM is giving discipleship training for Christian to reach the un-reached peoples group with gospel of Christ and plant the churches and live witness for Christ and church planting project. CICM teaches trains, equips, encourage and empowers and trained pastors for fulfilling great commission and also ordination and license for Christian ministers and also support for vulnerable churches and ministers. Its national wide organization working all over the India. give Ministry training for un-trained ministers those who are doing ministry without having ministry training, monthly support for primary level ministers, need own piece of land for churches where conducting service in rented building, to build church where already owned land, give ordination, education support for children of Christian ministers, peace and justice for discriminated Dalit Christian. Here many pastors, when they start the ministry, they start ministry with zeal, speed, faith and spiritual etc. but gradually their speed, zeal, faith and spiritual level is going down and many are going away from mission and vision. And another thing is many pastors are doing ministry without have theological course and ministry training so CICM every month organize 40-50 pastors teach, train, equip, encourage and empower pastors and leaders to bring them to early ministry stage and fulfilling great commission of Lord Jesus Christ . Not only that but also CICM constructs website for pastors so that they may express their testimony, vision and mission in CICM website, if anybody visit their page and want to support their ministry , they can directly support to them, it’s another tool for them.
